P‐115: A Super Fringe‐Field Switching Pixel Structure with Low Driving Voltage

In this work we propose a super Fringe-Field Switching (FFS) structure in which groove is formed between electrodes. With groove structure, both the threshold voltage Vth and operation voltage Vop of LCD display decrease by about 0.5 V. These improvements make great contribution to the power consumption of driving circuit and LCD panel.
