Method and system for allocating resource in a communication system

A method for allocating resources in a communication system and a system thereof are provided to prevent the generation of channel interference in interference sections among frames of cells. A method for allocating resources in a communication system comprises the following several steps. A serving BS(Base Station) and an adjacent BS determine a state of each time slot in a DL(downlink) area and an UL(uplink) area of a frame of each cell by being matched with an UL traffic and a DL traffic with mobile stations existing in each cell governed by the serving BS and the adjacent BS(211,213). The serving BS transmits the state information of each time slot, determined in a serving cell, to the adjacent BS(215). The adjacent BS transmits the state information of each time slot, determined in an adjacent cell, to the adjacent BS(217). A mobile station, which receives a communication service from the serving BS, monitors CQI(Channel Quality Information) and location information of the mobile station itself with the serving BS(219), and transmits the monitored CQI and the location information of the mobile station itself to the serving BS(221). The serving BS compares a frame of the serving cell with that of the adjacent cell and checks whether there exists a CTS(Cross Time Slot) between the frame of the serving cell and that of the adjacent cell(223). If so, the serving cell divides the CTS section into the set number of mini slots, divides the serving cell into the set number of areas in accordance with the number of the divided mini slots, and determines that the divided mini slots are matched with the divided areas(225). The serving BS checks whether a traffic with a mobile station, existing in one area among the divided areas, can be transmitted to its corresponding mini slot(227). If there occurs overhead at the mini slot, the serving BS requests the adjacent BS to transmit load information between a mobile station in the adjacent cell and the adjacent BS and location information of the mobile station in the adjacent cell(229). The adjacent BS transmits the load information between a mobile station in the adjacent cell and the adjacent BS and the location information of the mobile station in the adjacent cell to the serving BS(231). The serving BS allocates a time slot of a serving cell frame to the mobile station(233), and transmits the time slot allocation information to the mobile station(235). The mobile station transmits or receives data to or from the serving BS via the allocated time slot(237).
