A device for wireless transmission of high-definition images comprises a high-definition image transmitter and a high-definition image receiver. The high-definition image transmitter comprises an encoder, a VoIP module and a switch. A data outlet of the switch is connected with an OFDM standard broadband Modem and a transmission antenna. The high-definition image receiver comprises a receiver antenna and an OFDM standard broadband Modem. The OFDM standard broadband Modem is connected with the switch and a decoder. The high-definition image receiver also comprises a VoIP module connected with a switch. The device carries out digital encoding of high-definition video signals captured by a camera, transmits the signals to a receiver end in a microwave mode, and achieves field image sharing by means of a low-delay, low-interference and high-synchronization encoding scheme. The device employs advanced image encoding technology to improve the utilization rate of wireless bandwidth, and uses a low-delay algorithm to control the time delay to be within 2 frames to satisfy the real-time requirement.
