Preliminary considerations of the design of combinatorial and sequential digital systems under symmetry methods

This Report is an initial introduction to the possibilities of a new approach to digital system design using the methods of symmetries. Preliminary work with simple examples capable of hand-computation show considerable potential possibilities in this approach when compared with current, classic or intuitive design techniques.
