Neural location detection in wireless networks

An innovative solution towards the implementation of wireless location detection using a modified self-organizing map is presented. The network translates the measured cell data of a radio environment onto a neumn hierarchy that is immune to environmental variations. Simulation results demonstrate the network¿s ability to locate a mobile station within two meters in 94% of the cases.
