Red Gate Corner: a Web 2.0 prototype for knowledge and learning concerning China business and culture

In the global context there is an increasing interest for China. Many people use to refer to China as the new superpower of the 21st century. The truth is that China represents in general an 'unknown' context for the global community. Within this context in this paper we present the Red Gate Corner, a service under development, which exploits Web 2.0 technologies and social networks theory. The overall idea is to develop a virtual meeting place for companies interested in exploiting business opportunities with China.
