AVALIAÇÃO DE PILOTOS DE VERY LIGHT JETs UTILIZANDO-SE A MCDA-C

The Very Light Jets incorporate an advanced technology level, reduced costs, and are available to a greater number of potential pilots and clients. The pilots’ evaluation criteria are not clearly defined by the manufacturers, aviation authorities, operators, and other stakeholders. As a result of a Master Degree research, this article suggests a model to identify the VLJ pilots proficiency and performance profile. The MCDA-C methodology (Multi Criteria Decision Aiding – Constructivist) was used to evaluate the objective and subjective aspects, to integrate the different evaluation areas, and to produce knowledge on the evaluated situation. 54 evaluation criteria and their measurement scales were identified and grouped in five major areas: previous experience, initial evaluation, aircraft, flight operations, and flight safety. The constructed model may assist in the VLJ pilots’ global evaluation, besides showing new possibilities for pilots’ performance study.
