Control strategy for sulfur dioxide under new standard in coal-fired power plant

According to the new revised GB13223-2011 emission standard of air pollutants for thermal power plant,China has become the strictest country of the SO2 control standard in the world.For meeting the new standard,SO2 control countermeasures of coal-fired power plants were researched.The evolution of sulfur dioxide emission standard,the development process of desulfurization and control situation in thermal power plant were introduced.The problems of traditional flue gas desulfurization technology were summarized.For satisfying the new standard,the relevant countermeasures in design,operation,management and technologies were proposed.Several effective,reclaimable and without secondary pollution processes of desulfurization were introduced,which can provide reference for the operation and management of desulfurization equipment and for the selection of the desulfrization technology.
