Pressure?volume measurements by conductance catheter during cardiac resynchronization therapy

Pressure–volume measurements by conductance catheter enable assessment of systolic and diastolic left ventricular function and quantification of mechanical dyssynchrony in a continuous and on-line fashion. The present review gives an overview of the (potential) applications of this methodology in relation to cardiac resynchronization therapy.
