The Influence of Different Text Presentation Modes in Explicit Grammar Teaching on the Vocational Students' Learning of English Grammar

Exploring effective ways to teach grammar has become a hot issue in English teaching. This study selected randomly vocational college freshmen at different levels of English as experimental subjects and made a comparison of the influence between the multimedia dynamic text presentation and the traditional printed text presentation of the grammatical item of the subjunctive mood on vocational college students' study of English grammar, testing the role of explicit grammar teaching method on college students' study of English grammar. By SPSS software measurement of the data before and after the test, the results show that the multi-media dynamic text presentation produces no influence on the students' study of grammar compared with the traditional printed text presentation and explicit grammar teaching can greatly enhance vocational students' study of English grammar.
