Terahertz photoconductive antennas: Principles and applications

Operation principles of terahertz photoconductive antennas (THz-PCAs) in terahertz pulsed and continuous-wave (cw) measurement systems are presented and their transmission and reception properties in pulsed and cw operation modes are investigated.
