Pen Based Graphical Annotation in Medical Education

The paper presents conceptual definitions, interaction techniques and experiments on the 2D and 3D graphical annotations. The 2D annotation is independent of the type, content and format of the annotated 2D documents and 3D objects. The user performs the 3D annotation by drawing directly onto the surface of the 3D objects. All the annotation techniques are experimented through an eLearning framework and exemplified by medicine case lessons.
