Acoustic output device and control method thereof

Disclosed is an acoustic output device for providing a multi-crossover to improve the sound quality by forming a crossover frequency for each channel in different frequency bands when the same speaker unit is used for playing a plurality of channels. The acoustic output device comprises: at least one speaker for outputting an acoustic signal; a plurality of second speakers for outputting a range different from that of the first speaker; a plurality of crossover circuits connected to the first speaker and the plurality of second speakers, respectively; and a processor for controlling the plurality of crossover circuits to output signals with partially different frequency bands in each of the first speaker and the plurality of second speakers.
