Battery cell of curved shape and battery pack employed with the same

PURPOSE: A battery cell of a curved shape is provided to minimize unnecessary space waste by a tight configuration when the battery cell is mounted on a device having a curved shape or on a curved part within the device. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a battery cell(101) bent with a curvature radius comprises the steps of: (i) mounting an electrode assembly on a variable cell case and sealing the electrode assembly in an injection state of electrolyte to prepare a battery cell(100) and performing initial charging-discharging; (ii) mounting and pressurizing the vertically separable battery cell on jigs(210,220) with a battery cell shape of the curvature radius(r) smaller than the curvature radius; and (iii) drawing the battery cell by separating the jigs and leaving the battery cell so that the curvature radius is formed.
