Method for providing a schedule funtion and an electronic device thereof

The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for simplifying a schedule registration process in an electronic device. The method for managing a schedule management function in the electronic device includes the following steps of: extracting schedule registration information to be registered in the schedule management function by sensing the input of a user on a current output screen which includes a schedule; performing the schedule management function after extracting the schedule registration information; and registering the schedule registration information in the schedule management function.
