Extração de Características Utilizando Filtro de Gabor Aplicado à Identificação de Defeitos no Couro Bovino

The present paper demonstrates the application of Gabor Filter for bovine leather hides features extraction. In addition the features extraction module developed and the tools used in the experiments phase are detailed. The paper also presents results of bovine leather hides classification in wet-blue and haw hide tanning stages using the Gabor Filter attributes.
