Wideband linear frequency modulated continuous wave (LFMCW) signal generating device

The invention discloses a wideband linear frequency modulated continuous wave (LFMCW) signal generating device which is used in a signal source part of millimeter-wave speed and range measuring radar. The device comprises a signal generation and control module, a power supply module, an upper frequency conversion module and a signal conditioning circuit, wherein, the signal generation and control module comprises a controller and a digital frequency synthesizer (DFS) which is in signal connection with the controller; the upper frequency conversion module comprises an upper mixer and a band-pass filter (BPF), and an output terminal of the upper mixer is connected with an input terminal of the BPF; the signal conditioning circuit comprises a radio-frequency transformer (RFT), a power amplifier (PA) and an analog low-pass filter (LPF) which are in signal connection sequentially; output of the DFS is connected with input of the RFT, and output of the analog LPF is connected with input of the upper mixer; and the power supply module is used for supplying power to components. Compared with the prior art, the wideband LFMCW signal generating device has the advantages of good signal linearity, wider output bandwidth, simple structure, high stability and high reliability.
