Security Enhancement of AODV and GloMoSim Simulation

AODV(Ad hoc on-demand distance vector) routing protocol is widely used in Mobile Ad hoc networks for its high efficiency,small control overhead and simplicity.But it does not have any born security mechanism,and is vulnerable to security attacks especially the black hole attack.In this paper the working processes of AODV routing protocol and the essence of black hole attack are analyzed in detail,and a solution to Black Hole Attack is proposed.The performance of the security enhanced AODV protocol is simulated by using GloMoSim simulation tool.The results of the simulation show that the security enhanced solution can solve the problem about black hole attack effectively with relatively lower time delay and processing overhead.
