Control and Monitoring System for Single Motor Driven 2-Axis Progressive Metal Stamping Transfer System

For the purpose of automation in metal stamping industry, 2-axis (two motors driven) transfer systems are installed between each press machine to transfer the sheet metal parts from one press machine to the next. In order to reduce the cost of machinery, single motor driven 2-axis transfer system is proposed to lower the capital cost of manufacturing. The mechanism of this system is described. However, the control and monitoring system of this prototype system is explained with supporting theory and experimental result and outcome.
