Local optimal design for a frame-shear wall structure

Based on the viewpoint of optimal design and structure control theory, according to the features and antiseismic design requirements of a certain official building, it is proposed in this paper that the optimization and control strategies of highrise frame and shear wall structure to put the structure under rational loading and reduce the consumption of material. The result shows that it is a practicable method to decrease the expense of highrise antiseismic design by applying optimal design and structure control theory comprehensively.
