VERIFICATION OF MASONRY PROPERTIES IN AEM ANALYSIS FOR BRICK INFILLED REINFORCED CONCRETE FRAMES

The present study focuses on the verification of masonry constituent properties for analytical investigationofthe in-plane cyclic behavior of brick infilled RC framesin AEM. The material properties were establishedand validated for bricks and mortars under restraining influence within masonry prisms. Consequently, the verified constituent properties were exploited to analyzesingle-story single-bay half-scaled bare and brick infilled RC frame models under in-plane increasing reverse cyclic load which showed substantially good agreement with the corresponding test results.
