The paper under discussion tries to relate what the authors call as absorption limits of fine-grained soils to their cone liquid limits and to study the effect of drying on the absorption limit. After a careful reading of the paper, the discusser feels that there is a need to clarify some of the issues discussed in the paper to avoid con-fusion and to have more clarity.
