Specific cases of drugs multiple dosing using analog-hybrid simulation

For successful treatment of deseases multiple dosing is required in most cases. The work deals with the multiple dosing simulation using analog-hybrid computer EAI-580. Through such simulation the influence of the possible practical situations in multiple dosing on drugs plasma levels can be studied such as influence of dose and dosage interval, influence of different initial dose versus loading dose in order to attain steady state in shorter time, influence of the case when the dose (doses) is omited according to the problems of patients compliance, influence of the case when the dosing for acute treatment (higher dose in shorter dosing intervals) is changed to the chronic treatment (lower dose in longer dosing intervals) during the time of observation. All the mentioned cases were studied for the concrete drugs with different pharmacokinetic and pharmacologic properties.
