Engine starting protection device and system

An engine staring protection device and a system are used for protecting a road roller starting system. The system comprises a starting button, a starting relay, a starting motor, a starting protective relay, an engine ECU (Electronic Control Unit) and a revolution speed transducer. The starting motor starts to operate when the starting button is pressed down, the coil of the starting relay is electrified, contacts are closed, and a terminal 30 and a terminal 50 of the starting motor are connected; after an engine is started, a single of the revolution speed transducer is transmitted to the engine ECU, and the engine ECU outputs the single to the starting protective relay, so that a circuit between the starting button and the starting relay is cut off, and the starting motor stops operating and is disconnected with the engine. The operation of the starting motor driven by the engine due to misoperation is avoided, the service life of the starting motor is prolonged, and the starting motor is protected.
