Encouraging experimental results havebeen obtained froma two-wayloadmanagementsystemforlarge commercial as wellas governmental customerson the PotomacElectric PowerCompany(PEPCo)system. This paper peesents theseresults anddescribes the'inovative two- way loadmanagementsystemthatwas developed and installed to achievethem. TheRobinton Products, Inc. systemoperates froma central processorlocated inPEPCO's control centeranditcommunicateswiththecustomer locations through a telephone systemcalled"Select-A- Station". Future plansfortheexpansion ofthesystemare presented along withexperimental results.
