Under conditions when the Larmor radii of plasma particles do not exceed the screening radius of the Coulomb field, the effect of a magnetic field on particle-collision events becomes significant. Under these conditions, the relaxation time of electron and ion temperatures is dependert upon the magnetic field. The appropriate values of relaxation time are determined both in a broad interval of relationships between electron and ion temperatures and in a broad interval of magnetic-field values. (auth).
