Abstract : The aerodynamics of lifting systems flying at arbitrary distances from a boundary are discussed. The problem is solved by the kernel degeneration method through reduction of a singular equation of the first kind into a Fredholm equation of the second kind. The coefficients of the system of algebraic equations appearing in the solution of the Fredholm equation can be determined to any degree of accuracy by means of a computer. (Author)
