Integrating embedded-Web technology and real-time Ethernet for modern distributed control

High performance monitoring and control of real-time environments over network is of importance to modern process control. The designed system focuses on meeting the special requirements of the control-level within factory communication systems to transmit real-time data via a switched Ethernet network. The architecture of the embedded-web based distributed control system is introduced. A streamlined embedded Web server was designed specifically for the embedded controller which can produce the real-time output for a dynamic environment. And the hardware configuration and the software structure of the embedded Web server are discussed in details.
