Speed Governing of VSIG Based on Fuzzy PID Combined with Vary Subdivision

In order to improve speed regulating performance of variable speed integrated generator(VSIG),a set of VSIG speed controller was developed,and a two-phase hybrid stepping motor was in used as the throttle regulating actuator.Analyzing the speed control requirements of VSIG in wide operating range,and combining with the control features of fuzzy self-tuning PID stepping motor,a control strategy of vary subdivision with fuzzy self-tuning PID was presented.The speed regulating accuracy of VSIG was improved,because of the strong adaptability and good dynamic performance of fuzzy self-tuning PID,and was also benefited from the small oscillation and high accuracy of stepping motor control.The experimental results show that the speed regulating system and the speed control strategy are effective and reliable.The speed regulating system has comprehensive function of speed governing and operating monitoring which can be used to improve the dynamic and static speed control performance of VSIG.
