Research on influence of residual stresses on vehicle vibration dynamical stresses in welding joint districts of railway steel bridge

The influence of residual stresses on vehicle vibration dynamical stresses in welding joint districts of railway steel bridge is investigated in the paper.Based on the Poyang Lake railway steel truss bridge located in railway line Tonglin to Jiujiang,adopting the double ellipsoidal distribution heat source model to match the electrical welding,the distribution of residual stresses of welding joint districts of railway steel bridge is simulated.Meanwhile,we superpose the actual measured dynamical stresses of steel components adjacent to the welding joints of Poyang Lake railway steel bridge when the train is crossing the bridge.Then,taking both actions on the accurate finite element model,the rules of residual stresses on vehicle vibration dynamical stresses in welding joint districts of railway steel bridge are obtained,and the conclusion that the residual stresses have a significant effect on the vehicle vibration dynamical stresses in welding joint districts of railway steel bridge is drawn.
