The first European Microwave Week 1998 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands

On the occasion of 40 years anniversary of the European Microwave Conference (EuMC) experiences of the chairman of the first European Microwave Week (EuMW) are summarized. The set-up of the EuMW gave a new injection to strengthen the major European Microwave event.
