A Nucleolus-BasedProfit Allocation Methodfor Determine IndividualPower SystemStabilizer's Contribution toSystem Stability WeiPan,WenyingLiu,YihanYang,YangnanLi,LinCheng, andYunlong Tang

Theissue ofpricing theservices provided byPower SystemStabilizers (PSS)todampoutlow-frequency oscillations inlargeinterconnected electrical powergridsisproposed. Takingthedominant eigenvalue methodforanalytical toolto evaluate theincreased transfer capability whenPSS-control services areutilized, a methodbasedon nucleolus inthe cooperative gametheory todetermine theindividual PSSservices provider's contribution topowersystems stable operation, and allocate theprofit obtained bytotal transaction level increment amongallPSSservices providers ispresented. Thecalculation results showthattheproposed methodcanachieve rational allocation, and haveincentive effect on popularizing PSS application. Thesearehelpful forthestable andeconomical operation ofelectricity markets.
