Power transmission device for quilting machine

The present invention relates to a power transmission device for a quilting machine wherein a quilting thread is supplied by moving a tamping (50) up and down via the normal and opposite rotation of a tamping shaft (44) by the rotation of an eccentric cam (24) as the eccentric cam (24) rotated by a motor is connected to the tamping shaft (44) via a vertical shaft (40). The eccentric cam (24) is connected to the vertical shaft (40) via a link (32). The eccentric cam (24) and the link (32), and the link (32) and the vertical shaft (40) are combined by needle roller bearings (26, 34) respectively, thereby minimizing noise and shock induced by clearance when converting the rotation of the eccentric cam (24) into the vertical movement of the vertical shaft (40).
