Finalized Researches on Polymeric Materials: Sub-Project on Polymeric Materials of the Fine and Secondary Chemistry Research Program of the Italian National Research Council

The year 1972/73 was a decisive turning point for the public research policy in Italy. The Italian Research Council (C.N.R.) at this time, responding to strong political pressures which criticized its role as the principal co-ordinator and subsidizer of the public research, decided to organize “finalized research programs” whose goals were essential for the socio-economic progress of the country.
