Design on supplementary structures of cranes based on ergonomics

To study the design principles and rationality of design standards, the supplementary structures of quayside container crane, such as ladder, handrail, platform, alleyway and manhole, are analyzed from the point of view of ergonomics. The analysis is based on human-oriented design methods and refers to relevant crane industry standards of China. From the point of view of safety, reliability, comfort and(economy),the human-oriented design methods and principles on quayside container crane are proposed. The design principles and calculation formula are universally applicable.
