Study on the Crashworthiness of the Flexible Fuel Cell for the Helicopter

The helicopter flexible fuel cell construction was set as the research object,and its crashworthiness was simulating and validating in this paper.Firstly,Lagrange Euler coupling was introduced theoretically when flexible fuel cell impacting the ground.Secondly,FE model of the flexible fuel cell was founded,and the course of flexible fuel cell vertically impacting the ground at speed of 17.3 m /s was simulating with MSC.Dytran.The simulating results were compare with test results.Lastly,material capability,dropping gesture and profile which may influence crashworthiness of flue tank were analysed,and some conclusions was got to provide theoretic foundation for crashworthiness design of fuel tank.
