Design of Simulation Platform Based on HLA for Cold Continuous Rolling Mills

To resolve reusability and scalability,as well as the subsystem interface and integration issues in simulation system of cold continuous rolling mills,a simulation system was rebuilt in accordance with HLA standard. Based on HLA,a simulation system of cold continuous rolling mills was constructed. Simulation Federates such as model library,databases,basic automation,virtual mill,animation and virtual console display were contained in the federation as simulation applications. The federation execution of simulation system was designed. In accordance with the on request of the performance of simulation system,a distributed RTI and a hierarchical RTI were designed,relationships of publish and subscribe among federates were given,and process of attribute transfer among federates was schemed out.
