The invention relates to a guiding control method of guide wheels. The guiding control method is characterized by comprising the following control modes of a direction switch non-neutral-position control mode and a direction switch neutral-position control mode, wherein the direction switch non-neutral-position control mode is operated through the following steps of when a direction switch is shifted to a non-neutral position, electrifying a push-out relay, so that a normally open contact of the push-out relay is closed to control driving mechanisms for electric push rods of a guiding mechanism to run in one direction, pushing the electric push rods out, wherein a normally closed contact of the push-out relay is connected with a withdrawing relay, and when a PLC receives a signal that the electric push rods are completely pushed out, controlling the guide wheels to run; and the direction switch neutral-position control mode is operated through the following steps of when the direction switch is shifted to the neutral position, electrifying the withdrawing relay, so that a normally open contact of the withdrawing relay is closed to control the driving mechanisms for the electric push rods of the guiding mechanism to run in the other direction, withdrawing the electric push rods, wherein a normally closed contact of the withdrawing relay is connected with the push-out relay, and when the PLC receives a signal that the electric push rods are completely withdrawn, controlling the guide wheels to stop or reverse. According to the guiding control method disclosed by the invention, the derailment prevention properties of a guide rail tram can be improved, and the safety of the complete guide rail tram is improved.
