Low Reynolds number aerodynamic characteristics of low-drag NACA 63-208 airfoil

An investigation wns conducted to study the flowfield and the aerodynamic cbaracteristics of a lowdrag NACA 63-2011 airfoil section over a low Reynolds number nnge of 35,400 to 176,500. The pressure measurements for he Moil don were conducted for an angle-of-attack range of - 17 to + 18 deg in the low-speed wind tnannel. Tbe pressure diibibution was found to be quite different for various Reynolds numbers, but the maximum lift coeffidcnt was nearly independent of the Reynolds number. At iow Reynolds numbers, the slope of the pitching moment coefficient varied drastically with the mgle of attack.
