Method and apparatus for controlling connection

PURPOSE: An information providing method and a device thereof are provided to control a connection method with an external device according to a connection frequency of the external device. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(822) receives the identification information of the external device from the external device. A control unit(826) detects time information when the identification information is received. The control unit controls a connection with the external device based on the identification information and the time information. The external device is a transmission and reception device. The identification information is an MAC(Medium Access Control) address.
