Identifiability in Array Processing Models with Vector-Sensor Applications

We present a bound on the number of sources identifiable in a common class of array processing models. The bound is applied to determine the maximum number of sources uniquely identifiable in various electromagnetic and acoustic vector-sensor models. We show quantitatively how assumptions about the parameters affect the maximum number of identifiable sources.
