Diagnosis and accommodation of faults affecting the PMSG in variable-speed sensorless wind turbines - A deterministic approach

This paper focuses on a fault diagnosis and accommodation policy for a variable speed wind energy conversion system equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous generator. The proposed control strategy is based on a completely sensorless framework. Numerical simulations support theoretical developments and show the effectiveness of the presented results.
