Performance of the FS MC-CDMA System with CCI Canceller Technique in Nakagami-m Fading

In this paper, we evaluate the performance of fractionally spreading (FS) MC-CDMA, which the data streams are spread at both the symbol fraction level and at the chip level by the transmitter and hence the proposed scheme is referred to as the fractionally spread MC-CDMA arrangement or FS MC-CDMA, interms of average bit error probability (BEP), which is charactorized by AWGN and Nakagami-m Fading. The results are applicable to FS MC-CDMA systems employing with CCI. As a results, the probability of BEP in fast fading is always higher than that in slow fading, and the difference of BEP between the fast fading and slow fading diminishes with m approaching infinity. When the CCI canceller technique is used, it is observed that canceller technique is more effective in the fast fading case than that in the slow fading case.
