This paper proposes development of minimalism-based UCR(User Created Robot) vision module. The system was developed for compact size and low-power consumption with H/W platform using Marvell PXA320 processor based on Intel Xscale Microarchitecture and CMOS camera module, and with S/W platform using Embedded Linux with optimized image processing algorithm. The vision module includes vision functions for UCR, and provides easy interface for UCR users to utilize vision function with minimal effort.
