Optimised planning of power distribution network with solar energy, Battery storage and DSTATCOM: a multi-objective approach

In the current era of restructuring and environmental concern incorporation of solar energy is a feasible option to improve the performance of power network. In this work to cater the uncertainty of solar power, Battery storage and DSTATCOM is integrated in the network. A multi-objective E-NSGAII algorithm is applied to perform the task of device placement. Various objectives pertaining into financial, ecological and technical benefits are considered. In order to prove the efficiency of the E-NSGA it is compared with other algorithms. The method is tested on 12 bus and 69 bus networks and the results are validated.
