Provided is a double exchange work station including two exchange stations, a traction mechanism, a workbench pallet and a starting position feedback mechanism, the two exchange stations are arranged at the rear side of the machine tool and symmetrically arranged relative to operating positions, each exchange station comprises an underframe, a workbench is arranged on the underframe and is provided with two columns of load-carrying bearing; the traction mechanism comprises a driving device, a speed reducer, a main sprocket wheel, a driven sprocket, a chain and a traction member connected to the chain, the main sprocket wheel is arranged at one end of the workbench and is connected to the speed reducer and the driving device, the driven sprocket is arranged at the other end of the workbench; the workbench pallet is arranged on the load-carrying bearing, the bottom of the pallet is provided with a guiding block which is provided with a guiding groove, one end of the traction member can be imbedded in the guiding groove; the starting position feedback mechanism comprises a synchronous sprocket wheel, a decelerator, an encoder and a proximity switch, the synchronous sprocket wheel is contacted with the chain of the traction mechanism. The double exchange work station in the utility model adopts the manner of driving chain transmission, the traction mechanism is automatically wedged into or released the workbench pallet along the movement of the chain allowing the workbench pallet to directly transmit in place; the encoder feedback mechanism enables a more accurate and reliable transmission.
