Note on motions of phases in a fluidized bed

Abstract The average circulating motion of solids in a fluidized bed and the corresponding motion of the fluid phase can be described by a solution of the basic averaged dynamic equations of multiphase flow. A solution for a two-dimensional, isothermal, uniform bed is illustrated.
