Distributed Average Consensus with Event-Triggered in Multi-agent Systems under General Directed Topology

This paper focuses on the distributed average consensus with event-triggered in discrete-time multi-agent system over general directed network. The triggering condition and iteration algorithm for each agent are fully decentralized. Furthermore, the proposed algorithm is inspired by the push-sum algorithm. At each instant time, each agent updates its state by employing the states collected from itself and its neighboring agents at their last triggering time. In this paper, we show sufficient conditions to achieve average consensus for discrete-time event-triggered protocols. At last, one simulation is given to explain the feasibility of the proposed algorithm.
