Thermal-structural coupling analysis of roller using ANSYS software

Using ANSYS Finite Element Analysis Software established roller's two-dimension steady model,the model solved mass transfers problem in the roller's heat transfer;ANSYS thermal analysis indicated the distributed rule of thermal field in the casting.Through switching analytic element and remeshing the model,the roll's thermal-structural coupled analysis continued to be analyzed based on thermal field,it realized thermal stress and mechanical load coupled simulation,and gained the rule of roller's stress field.The paper analyzed the cause of roll shell's thermal fatigue in the production.
