A novel method to estimate the parameters of induction motor is proposed for field orientation vector control system of the induction motor(IM),which is based on multiple innovation least squares method.According to multiple innovation least squares of induction motor mathematic model,the rotor time constant,the total leakage factor and the stator inductances can be estimated based on the stator currents and stator voltages and speed,not relying on rotor flux.The simulation results show good estimating performance.The result provides basis for applying other multiple innovation parameters identification method to practice.
